Got Media is a video production company born on the NSW Central Coast, serving clients from Sydney and Newcastle to the wider New South Wales region.
It was founded by Danny May and Dean Russell out of a shared passion for storytelling through film. Both founders are seasoned creatives – with over 20 years combined film industry experience.

Has been helping companies succeed and develop their marketing plan and producing everything from small business social media content to large corporate campaigns and television commercials.

Dean Russell
Dean Russell brings a strong background in cinematography and production management. He’s an accomplished videographer and director with a handful of best short film awards under his belt — proof he knows how to create impactful media.

From day one, Danny and Dean set out to make Got Media something different. In their early days working together, they’d constantly throw around ideas about how the whole video production process could be better—less bloated, less expensive, and way less complicated. They’d seen how traditional agencies could overdo it with red tape and inflated pricing, turning what should be a fun, creative process into something that felt stiff and unnecessarily hard.

So they built Got Media to cut through all that. A leaner, more flexible approach that still delivers top-tier video content—without the hefty price tag. Not a big, impersonal agency.
